WEDDING FILM GUIDE
A short teaser can be a lovely way to share the excitement of your wedding. It is a separate format from the main film, so it helps to decide what you want before the cameras arrive.
Decide where you want to share it
A horizontal film works differently from a vertical phone video. Portrait crops can remove people near the edges of a wide shot, and text needs room around platform buttons and captions. Tell your filmmaker if a social version matters so the team can consider composition while filming rather than treating every shot as interchangeable later.
Ask about the deliverable and timing
A teaser, a social reel, and a same-day edit are different services. Confirm the duration, orientation, music approach, expected delivery window, and whether the video is included in the collection or available separately. A teaser being short does not mean it takes no planning or editing time.
Keep the main story in perspective
A teaser creates anticipation; it does not need to include every event or reveal your most private vows. You can save the fuller emotional arc for the main film. Discuss any moments or people you do not want posted publicly and agree on how sharing permissions will work.
Your planning checklist
- Name the intended platform and orientation.
- Confirm the teaser delivery window.
- Ask what is included in your collection.
- Share privacy preferences before filming.
Our Signature collection currently includes a 60-second teaser. Ask us about the format and current options that fit how you want to share your day.
